so, i got the blend door actuator off, i was able to pull the gear out of it. using the rod from the actuator i have been able to physically move the blend door from hot to cold, and cold comes out!!! question for you guys is how to i determine if the controls are bad or the actuator is bad...

HELP PLEASE!! i now have this exact problem. i have done some searching for blend air/cable hook up but cannot find it. when the a/c is on, nothing but heat is coming out of vents. under the hood the ac lines are cold. and pep boys guage says freon is on the money. so i believe it is somewhere...
