Just curious, I heard it was kinda sketchy to run a dropin locker in a front axle without disengagble hubs like our D30s...even dangerous. I was thinking about dropping one in my 89 with the disco axle. Right now my driveshaft does NOT spin in 2wd and I like it that way. Will it stay stationary...
maybe, but i dought it i would think they would just make the one kit then, maybe a difference in thickness of the shafts or something, glad i could help :cheers:

Yeah i was hoping it would work as stock, but i didnt know if with the different cam specs, throttle body, head etc. if maybe one has to fine tune to get the right mix. I was going to mess with it in a couple days, sure is nice...
I did it...I built my own and I sure like it. Cost me $15.00 at the local parts store and took 20mn to design, 20mn at the Hardware Store and 30mn at home to assemble and install works great too. Here's some pics hope it works on here...

my dad 2000 chevy was doing this and i found the problem to be the fuel pres regulater. it was leaking fuel back through the vacuem hose that hooks to it in the manifold. once it sat it bled fuel in the intake aaaa
Hmmm, everything i've ever read sais that if the Cam Sensor goes out while in operation the motor will continue to run based on last signal but will NOT run once it has been shut off ( for RENIX anyways ), and that is the way mine acted when it went bad a year ago. Either way i am sure it's...

Any updates yet?? Mine has been making a "whirring" noise also, sounds like a supercharger. gets louder and quieter with tourque converter going in and out of lockup mode.
Replaced a lot of issues?? Like what for instance? I've adjusted mine a few months ago and made a change in idle for the better but since has returned to idle at 600 again instead of 750'sh. Adjusted it correctly with digital volt meter.
