    Lift for high speed offroading

My neighbor just finished his JS truck. It has the Full Traction 6" long arm suspension and the ACOS hydro bumpstops. He plated his rails with 1/4" steel and tied the rails into the 6pt cage. He's running a waggy 44 up front and lp9 rear with 4.56s on 33s. I'm trying to sell him my old stroker...

    re-gearing and tire size

32s are tiny bro. You won't have any issues with them. Just grab a speedo gear from NAPA and git-r-done, son! ;)

    Lift for high speed offroading

Look into Full Traction's 6" long arm kit or the T&J Performance JeepSpeed kit.

    Waterproofing dist. cap?

Don't forget the fuel tank. I moved mine inside the Jeep. Still gets water exposure but it doesn't get into the tank.

REVIEW: Crown Auto Valve Cover Pics- The one from Tellico, and Quadratec

We went to the junkyard and got a cap off a 93 Wrangler. I cut tabes into the valve cover and it worked great. No leaks and it seals water tight. He's had the truck in up to the top of the snorkel just before the air inl;et.

TnT Long Arm for Desert Chasing

Go for it. I can't see any issues. It's stronger than the full traction kit (mounts are sickeningly strong), especially with the sleeved rails.

    Ditching the front sway bar.

650# springs help a lot too.

    33s w/ chains?

I run teflon chains (sprayed with teflon clear coat) on 49" boggers. Some of the mud in FL is impossible without chains.

Hi-Tec retreads are on... Discount Tire store sucks

I only go to the 18-wheeler/motorcoach tire shops. Discount Tire has more flip floppers than Miami Beach.

I'm at 8 and wanna go bigger

I have an XJ with 8" of lift on 49s (mud) and 39s (rocks) with 7.13 gears. Laff. Gears have nothing to do with lift. 9" is too much lift with stock trackwidth and I can fit 49" boggers with 8" of lift and minor trimming. Re-read the thread.

    What winch... and where?

Another vote for the Aussies (T-max). I have their competition version (9k with synth rope and wireless remote). If the wireless remote fails, just plug her in the old fashioned way. Tellico4x4 has a good price. I paid $705 shipped during a sale.

WHO WANTS A HYD ROLLER CAM!!!!

You must be an import tuner. Only a sportcompact tuner would pay $1300 for a cam. ;)
