Sorry to highjack. But this is close to what my 2000xj is doing. It does not have a rough idle but stalled at a red light and would not start back up. No problem with cranking just would not fire. We thought it was a relay under the hood because once it was replaced it was fine. But it did it...
I did a search and the only one that fit was from 2005. So have led's gotten and better? Meaning are they brighter than factory bulbs? I have tried 2 diffent types of add on lights which either get broken off by snow banks or rot fast from salt spray due to snowplowing. I have also tried 50w...
I have a 2000 xj and tail pipe rotted which was custom bent 2.5 and the pipe rotted from cat to muffler. So i replaced pipe between cat and flowmaster and moved it back a little and just put a down pipe on it. It resonates off the rear axle bad so should I just move the down pipe back 8 inches...
I have plowed with my 2000 xj for 4 years. It has done 30 plus driveways per season. I have had 2 western plows on it. 7'2" and now a 6'6" because its our back up.
Thanks everyone just wanted to make sure I wasnt missing something on maiintaining my toy. But I forgot to add I had not front drive shaft because my buddy was putting joints in it for me. So I thought that would even make it better?
I have a 2000 sport with Firestone m/t 33x12.5x15 on 15x8 light weight aluminiun rims. 4.10 gears, hp dana 30 and 8.25 chrysler in rear. No lockers or posi yet. 4.5 inches of lift. No winch or tire carrier not even a spare. My friend and I took a 250 mile trip with 95% being the thruway and got...
Which is better and why? I need 1" - 1.5" along with my hockey puck bump stops. I found solid weld in and some solid aluminum where u use the isolator or just poly? Take price out of the equation. I am running about 4 inches of lift with bushwacker cutouts. Just put on firestone m/t's 33x12.5x15...
Thanks for all the input. Could anyone post a picture of your XJ with 33x10.5x15 and 33x12.5x15. Thanks in advance I know I am being a pain in the ass but with the economy I only want to do this once.
Ok so if I go bfg I would get 33x10.5x15 at's if I go bighorns I think the only option is 33x12.5x15 whick to me is not a skinny tire at all. Am I missing something?
I currently run 265/75/16 at's in the winter and 32/11.5/15 in the summer. The jeep snow plows in the winter and goes on 3 or 4 trail/mud rides in the summer. Also 1 or 2 snow runs in the winter. The jeep has 5 inches of lift, cut fenders with bushwacker flairs, and 4.10 gears. I was thinking...
I am currently running 32x11.5x15 bfg at's on aluminum 15x8 rims. I also have a set of gold grand cherokee 16x7 or 8 with 265/75/16 with 1.5 inch wheel spacers. I am going to a mild mud tire year round but live in Buffalo,NY so don't want to go to wide because it will suck in snow on streets...
I am looking for a 33x12.5x15 mt to replace my BFG 32x11.5x15 at. Its only off roaded a few times a year but is driven a lot in the winter in snow. There is a new local drirt drag i would like to play at. I have see good things about maxis bighorns and wildcat ext's. $800.00 max installed...
I am running 4.10's with 32's and it feels pretty good pep wise. I had a shop figure it out and my speedo is only off 1.2 mph at 60 so I think you would be a liitle sluggish with 33's and 4.10's. I would go 4.56.
I wondered if anyone has put a TB spacer in with a K&N FIPK? I know a 1" won't fit but maybe a 1/2 inch? Dr Dino told me to measure but I am looking for a starting point.
