    The 703s flow 22.7lb/hr @ 43.5psi and are too big for a stock 2.5.

    I know the bolt spacing is correct but I haven't tried them on my XJ. I don't think the backspacing will be a problem 'cause the rims are big enough to easily clear the brake calipers.

    4.0 Head Port

    Only do that on the intake ports & manifold runners. DON'T gasket match the exhaust ports 'cause they'll become too big and you could get reversion of spent exhaust gases back into the cylinders during valve overlap.

    Under WOT you'd need the AFR to be somewhere around 12.5-13.2 (0.85-0.90 lambda). An AFR of 14.7-15.4 (1.00-1.05 lambda) is the desirable range for light throttle cruise, and an AFR of 14.0-14.7 (0.95-1.00 lambda) is where you need to be for light throttle acceleration. ________________________...

    That's probably true on '96+ models with OBD II and especially on '00+ models with DIS, but Renix and OBD I models shouldn't have any problem. The original 4.6L stroker build with the Crane 753905 cam ran absolutely fine in my '92 XJ with nothing more than larger injectors and a mild adjustment...

    Cam suggestion and Tune Question

    It seems clear that you have a fuel delivery problem so that rules out the PCM. Have you checked the fuel lines to see if any are kinked?
