Been having some problems with my switches. my unlock/ lock has stoped working pretty much. it always took a few pushes to get the damn doors to open all the way. and the drivers side door will not open or close. every now and then it will briefly? any ideas? thanks. this is off a 93 jeep...
yeah it is an r12 compressor. so napa stocks those lil adapter things? yea so the r12 model has the same size ports, and the newer r134a has ones like these correct. one larger than the other.
so i just need those adapters to fit them.
I currently have a 93 xj 4.0. and im trying to use some a/c hoses off a 95. will they fit my compressor though. if i take off those 2 adapter pieces that are on it. are both ports the same size? because one hose fitting is smaller than the other and from what i can see both ports on the...
just had a quick question. will a 1995 jeep cherokee r134a a/c hose fit up with my 93 jeep cherokee r12 compressor and drier? since i toasted my stock one that goes from the condenser i was wondering if it would fit.
yeah you sound like your dead on there. I purchased the short block from a local engine rebuilder, they ended up being a new factory shortblock motor not bored out. strait from factory. i did end up reusing my old head and had them do a valve job on it aswell as all new exhaust valves. along...
yea it smelled wierd. im possitive it wasn't coolant. it was def coming from the tailpipe. pretty sure it was oil. because iv been loosing oil at a very slow rate. I have never noticed it smoking before and it was like a thick cloud. kinda like when its very cold outside and you can see the...
couldn't tell it was dark but i think it was more dark grey i didnt see any blue. I just went and started it up and it was clean as a whistle no smoke at all so im not sure. it was quite hot over 210 degrees but not to much over i dought that has anything to do with it.
wow i was at a fast food drive through yesterday and wow there was like a cloud of smoke coming from my exhaust. Iv never really seen it before. first time i had seen smoke before. I had I did notice that i had been loosing oil and have no leaks. theres only 7-10,000 miles tops on my new motor...
oh i under stand now those are like the valves to open and close.the not the actual port were u fill with. the smaller ones that are facing towards the rear of the jeep are the high and low ports correct.
i ended up ordering one from kragen what a mistake. i ended up recieved a square condenser lol like thats gonna fit.... guess il try another place that has the correct one....
jeesh why cany chrysler ever make things simple lol. so how would i go about putting on those r134a adapter fitting to it. does that valve need to be removed? or just placed over it. im kinda confused so you have to turn it to open it but once u start filling it how do u close it without...
lol langer i just posted those videos. it has a S near the port so its suction right as in the low side port? D is for discharge for high side? i thought most r12 system had a shreader valve type setup. i cant figure out what that little bar is inside the this so called port?
this is my lowside a/c port correct? im planning on doing the r134a conversion. what is the large metal piece sticking out of the port?
on a 93 cherokee.
