I searched here, jeepforum, google etc. and can not find a photo graph of a hand throttle installed on a XJ.
All I find are TJs and Cjs, where the cable is horizontally mounted. My throttle linkage is mounted vertically.
Anyone successfully installed the Rubicon Express hand throttle? Got any...
Re: Help a noob!
It probably wouldn't hurt to purchase some used stock leaves that still have plenty of arch in 'em.
I am in the same boat, 87 XJ with flat leaves and blocks underneath, and a set of S10 leaves waiting to go in.
However, I dont want to go through the headache with removing...
My safety valve is rated at 130psi. And my air/oil filter is rated 130psi as well.
Could I put a regualtor before the oil filter to reg the pressure throughout?
Edit: And do I not need a unloader to release the pressure?
Been there, read that. And no they don't have everything I need. They only offer one pressure switch, which is rated at 150psi OFF. Not to mention no inline oiler.
Pun intended on the title. Anyway, I’m working on putting my OBA setup together. Ill be using the stock Sanden compressor for the job. So far I have everything I need except the pressure switch, oiler, and filter.
I searched Google, jeepforums and every other place for write-ups and...

Why not use the stock spare holder on the other side? A new eye bolt is all it takes, and just as cheap. Not to mention a lot safer. Oh and thats a worn down 31.
I was thinking the same thing too. But i guess it depends if you want to push cold air into the engine compartment or let hot air out. i would have turned them around and mounted them closer to the cowl, IMO.
You might try drilling a small hole through the entire bumpstop. Insert long screwdriver and pull down on it while turning.
If that doesn’t work, like in my case, check to see if the bumpstop cup has been welded to the upper tower. The previous owner of my 87 had welded them together which...
My brother and I are always looking for wheeling buddys. We travel downtown OKC at the Oklahoma River sometimes. Though we are also looking for new places.
Hes got a 01 TJ on 33s while im building up my stock 87 XJ. Should be heading out more often during the summer as soon as schools out. I...
