That doesn't look good. If you're saying that you're trying to loosen/tighten the castlnut on top and the whole thing just spins then you're gonna have to crack the nut or cut the end off. I got a nut cracker from Sears and it's come in handy several times on frozen/stripped nuts.
I wasn't trying to punk you or anything. From your original post I couldn't tell if you were new to wheeling in general or just to XJs. I was smart too and married the right women who comes with me and the kids when we go out :)

Have you wheeled it yet stock (or ever wheeled anything for that matter)? You may not like it. Take it out and see how it/you do. You may want to start out at 3" and 31s. Do yourself a favor and budget for a lunchbox locker. Having both wheels turning will get you out of more trouble than going...
Just ordered up a set of springs from Alcan. Hopefully they'll last a little longer than the RE 4.5s I have now. 3 week wait so I hope they're work it.
I've had their rock sliders for about 7 years now and they've held up great. They take a beating and do their job. Just a little sanding and touchup paint to get rid of the rock rash and they're good to go. It did take a while to get but it's a good product.
