    8.25 axles

Alright. Thanks again. I am guessing larger axle bearings would also be needed?

    Aftermarket Radiator

Yeah. That's why every single person in any kind of motorsport runs an aluminum radiator. Do you think John Force has a copper radiator? How about Jeff Gordon? Copper is weak, aluminum is strong. Copper is heavy, aluminum is light. A 2 core aluminum radiator will out cool a 4 core copper brass...

    32's and 3.55's

2: If you have a rubber plug it's a Chrysler 8.25. You can get up to a 4.56 and the carrier does not need to be changed. 4.10 and 4.56 will require a new cross shaft pin. 3: Ring and pinion and an install kit would be good. Ratech makes some nice full install kits that come with all the bolts...

Is a Pacesetter header 50 state legal?

Yep, C.A.R.B. is the problem. Most likely Pace Setter did not want to pay to have the header tested to be C.A.R.B. legal. Here is the problem. Every aftermarket part you buy that has been deemed C.A.R.B. legal comes with an E.O. number on a little sticker. For you to be able to use whatever...

Who has had Crane Cam Failure?

It's not the cam it's the oil you used to break it in with. The oil manufactures have removed something from the oil (zinc maybe) and it is causing the cams to wear out very quickly. Next time you install a cam use plenty of assembly lube and only use Shell Rotella oil to break the cam in with...

    8.25 axles

I enjoyed your book, Eric. Thanks for all the idea's and info. As for the axles they are the same length. Alloy and Superior are both good brands and I will go with which ever is cheaper. As for the carrier, I dunno? Does the whole carrier need replaced or just the gears? Could you keep your...

    Stabilizer Question

I installed one about 3 weeks ago on my 93 and it bolted right up, well sort of. After lots of fire from a torch and air tools to get the old one off the new Skyjacker stabilizer bolted right up. No puller or pickle fork needed. Maybe you got a misbox that was missing the new bracket???

broken sway bar link. where to get a new one?

You should be able to find them locally. I know Moog offers them. Check with your local Kragen, Napa, Auto Zone, etc...

I need an extra 4 inches. Help!

Thanks for the replies. RE is not an option for me. I will buy something from the company I work for even if I have to piece a lift kit together. I would think that at dealer cost I can piece together a kit that is better than a RE kit at full retail. I was also thinking the Terraflex kit...

I need an extra 4 inches. Help!

I have a 1993 Jeep Cherokee Country and I would like to lift it about 4 inches to clear 31x10.50s. My XJ has the H.O. 4.0, auto trans AW4, transfer case NP242, rear diff 8.25 Mopar. I work at a place that sells Terra Flex, Super Lift, Sky Jacker, Pro Comp, Full Traction, and Rancho. I can get...
