I am selling my 98 jeep cherokee but first i want to replace the cracked exhaust manifold. will there be any issues with passing emissions with this manifold? http://www.carpartstoyourdoor.com/jeepman9199.htm
the guy thats buying the jeep wants the cracked manifold fixed first and he worries...
How do I fix this? can I replace just the stud or do i have to replace the whole mount? I am trying to sell the jeep but want to fix this before i sell.
sorry to hijack but I have a D30/D44 combo in my 98. I am running 31's right now but would I be ok to lock my axles and run 33's? I do wheel in the rocks but nothing extreme (yet)
I have a 98 XJ that will have a mixed 6.5" lift. It is my DD But I do wheel it occasionally but not the extreme stuff. I will be running 33's (I know, too small for 6.5" of lift)
Anyways, here are some of my thoughts
Y-Links have inconsistent caster angle
3-links put stress on CA mount...
You know... Ya, I probably will miss it. But I think I have to sell it. Its costing me $250 a month for gas alone plus all the money I keep dumping into it (building it is too hard to resist) anyways, I was thinking about selling it for about $4,500
I had a build planned for my XJ but most of the money went to pay off the remainder of my medical bills for a surgury I had last year so I think I'm just gonna sell it and get a small car for mileage.
It's a '98 Sport w/ 185k on the clock but I did a 2wd to 4wd conversion using a wrecked '97...
