I have a 1999 XJ with a 4.5 inch Rough Country Lift
I have the T-Case drop with 6 degrre shims on the rear leaf packs.
Been driving on this for a year. No vibes at all.
Every jeep is different though
This is a long shot, but it is worth a try.
Did the coolant spray anywhere else? Lets say by the distributor cap?? If so maybe it got wet. Pull the cap off and check. Like I said its a long shot, but easy to check
This happened to me when my radiator hose blew.
my lift is less than 1 year old... I do have rough country adjustable control arms, but they did not adjust in far enough. I had to take the drop brackets off untill I can get different arms.
I currently have the rough country 4.5 inch series lift. The springs in the front are very stiff. I ws wondering if anyone knew of a good quality manufactured soft spring for the front of my XJ. I have stock bumpers and do not plan on putting anything on the front. It is also my Daily driver...
They do bolt up to the stock control arms, however for some reason it pushed my axle foward about an inch. They are designed for stock arms and aftermarket arms for lifts over 4.5 inches.
Here are the pictures, they are basically brand new, never had offroad, less than 1,000 miles on road. I have all the original hardware and instructions, and these things are heavy, $160 shipped anywhere in the 48 states.
