I feel like I should mention that you don't have to have an iPod or any kind of iDevice to listen to a podcast. If you have an android phone then you are in business. Here's a link on how to subscribe to the always-FREE show, The 4x4 Podcast...
I'd like to be able to open my rear hatch from the inside so that I can sleep in the back while camping. I have a 2 door and I know I could just climb up to the front seat and crawl out the door but is tough when you wake up in the middle of the night and you've gotta take a leak.
I've got...
Hey guys, I'd love to have everyone check out the latest episode of The 4x4 Podcast. In this episode, I tell my story of my experience at the Baja 1000. I was sponsored by Hero Offroadhttp://facebook.com/herooffroad which is a non-profit organization that's mission is to say thank you to...
This is something I've been looking at recently too. Rock Krawler and Clayton are the 4 link conversion guys I've been looking at and I think they both have a rig set to compete in King of the Hammers.
Anyone have more info on the Hunsakers? I'm still stuck in iraq but I'm considering having some installed while i'm still here so i have something cushy for my tushy once i'm finished sitting in these HMMWV seats!
Okay so has everyone backed out of getting the Hunsaker seats? I'd like to think that the figured out more people would buy from them if they bolted right in or at least had the bracket adapter. I'm still interested in some feedback from someone who has used these on the trail on the street.
I think you'd be better off getting an aftermarket one just for the sake its make to match the roof contours and will be less prone to leakage. i would like to install a moonroof too.....but since i'm in iraq i don't get to play with my jeep at all. its like mandatory web wheeler duty for a...
This is perfect! I switched to a open cone filter and the longer i use it the more i worry about sucking in some water spray. I'd love to convert it so its compatible with a snorkel but i trashed the stock air box a long time ago. Keep us posted on what you come up with!
I totally agree with the idea of including a top half door!! I would love to take my doors off but I'd also like to close out the bad weather when i need to. Oh and again, make one for a 2 door please!
Okay this doesn't totally pertain to the topic. I bought this really great XJ a while back but it rides really REALLY rough in the rear. once its loaded to the hilt the camping stuff its much better but since its a DD it sucks for that. It has Bilstein 7100s and i'm wondering if they were...
what are the detours sliders/stiffeners. Google gave me nothing on that one. can you really tell that much of a difference with the Currie stiffeners or is it more of a seat of the pants "i think its way better" type thing?
I got nothin!
Christmas while in Iraq sucks! Not only do i not really get anything but a hickory farms meat stick but I didn't even get to see my 7 month old try and open her gifts! Anyways merry Christmas to everyone else and a Happy New Year!
does anyone actually have pictures of an extra seat mounted in the back? is it rear facing or forward facing? I've been thinking about getting a retired m101 or m105 army trailer so that i could fit more passengers and this would definately do the trick.
