The only sensor i can think of on the head itself is the water temp sensor on the back of the head. Or maybe the other water temp sensor on the thermostat housing. Neither could be adapted for air filter housing though.....

I was chasing down a similar problem forever. Even took it in to a shop. I accidentally moved a vacuum hose and the jeep died. That hose had a leak and fixed the problem.

Get under the jeep and listen for the knock maybe with someone giving it a little gas. You might hear it or not. If you don't it may be only when in motion. Can be a loose torque converter bolt or maybe a bad u joint. Might also be loose exhaust hitting something under there?

Please search. Ton's of info on this one. Under Advanced search I typed 2001 stalling and found several threads mainly saying it's a Crankshaft Position Sensor most likely......

Hard to tell from that video but i did notice a little knock. Kinda comes and goes. You should post another one while throttling it back and forth for us. It was pretty faint on this end. Does it seem to get loud when you get at higher RPM's? Or just after you let off?
