    AC Compressor Bad or Just Bearing

    ive got a simiar thing going on, my compressor, or the compressor clutch is shot. I think it is the clutch because it makes a crazy noise when the ac/heat or defrost arent even on, so its just the clutch spinning freely. let me know what you find out about how to change the clutch assembly.

    so try starting it with the ac off. see if it still makes the noise, if yes than its probably not the compressor. People are saying that the wine could be any spinning assembly, and to take the belt off and try them all for movement and noise.
