Rear quarter panel rot what to do :-/

My first question is, should you be driving? I mean, you didn't see that and Ray Charles could've seen that! Lol. I'm just messing with you. I would cut them off and roll the crease. Clean up as much as possible and coat with rust converter. Good luck!

    Coolant Loss......

Possible freeze plug leak. Searched for months trying to figure it out. Every time the wife would drive the jeep it'd get warmer than normal and you could smell coolant when she got home. I checked everything, but couldn't find a leak. I finally decided to let it idle until I tracked it down and...

    Driver's door window issues

There's a great write-up on bypassing the lockout switch. It's one of the easier fixes and it'll never be an issue again. The wires are behind the drivers kick panel.

Odd 2000 XJ Data Log Results

Something in the engine wiring harness is picking up interference. Everything I see on your graph is related to the same harness. Vehicle speed, temp, etc.

Check Engine Light Flashing....Injector circuit open?

Lol. Jealous. But yeah, 5.0 injectors are a direct swap. So, if you need connections that's a good place to look.

Check Engine Light Flashing....Injector circuit open?

What I'm trying to say is the injectors don't care if the connections are off a 2000 XJ or a 95 5.0 Mustang. So long as they fit. I have injectors from a Mustang in mine and they're plug and play.

Check Engine Light Flashing....Injector circuit open?

It either didn't flash at all or it'd be intermittent. Realistically the plugs don't matter. So long as they have the correct end obviously. You could get them from several different jeeps they're not different between injectors. NOW, I do think the year matters as far as the connections go, but...

Harmonic Dampner went south what all can I fix with it off?

Maybe a good time to change your valve cover gasket. If it's leaking anyway. Also, don't forget the hose clamps and radiator cap. Antifreeze.

99 4.0 Misfire code, runs fine

Similar issue with mine. I just posted my fix. Pin out each injector wire and trace them back to the PCM. My guess is your injector harness has shorted out and that's why you're getting intermittent flashing check engine light.

Check Engine Light Flashing....Injector circuit open?

Yes. One of the first things. I figured out the issue and finally got it running right today. Fixes are; 1) Pin out the engine management harness. Found numerous bad spots and overall roasted wires. Especially around the injectors. Found new/used harness that was 90% serviceable and tracked down...

Check Engine Light Flashing....Injector circuit open?

Got it. Thanks!! I'm going through it now looking for something that will tell me definitely it's the PCM. There has to be a way to pin out the computer and verify it is the issue.

Check Engine Light Flashing....Injector circuit open?

I had a FSM but unfortunately a "buddy" never returned it and until now haven't had a reason to get another. So yes please do. My email is [email protected]. I've already stripped the loom down and found several spots that were melted. Amazingly they were all around the spots where the...

Check Engine Light Flashing....Injector circuit open?

Okay, I know this thread is old but it's the only one I've found while searching that matched my issues. I'm not new to troubleshooting and I'm very familiar with jeep electrical systems. This is on my; 2000 XJ, 4.0, 4WD, AUTO, 160,000 miles I've already pulled the codes and have a P0203. I...

99 xj - doing oil leaks, need help on parts list.....

I changed the rear main seal, pan gasket, timing chain and gasket, basically every gasket on the lower end on my 87 Waggoner with no lift by letting the axle drop as stated above. It was a little tight getting it back in but by no means impossible. It's a pretty straight forward job. Just take...

    2000 xj no start

Have you checked the plug on your coil pack? It's tight back there and there's a chance that it was damaged or not completely connected. I had a similar problem when I changed plugs on my 2000.
