I'm looking at JKS discos for my ~2.5" lift, but I'm planning to go WJ OTK and 5.5-6" in the future (MJ SOA). Does anyone have pictures or suggestions for sway bar links/discos with that lift height and WJ OTK? I would like to buy discos that I can use for my current setup and the future WJ OTK...
Yes, I contacted them after receiving the order and they offered to make it right. It was a newer guy that wasn't aware they were included with the bumper.
Brandon offered a refund if I returned them but I figured I'd try to sell them off first since they gave me a good deal for buying two...
Is there anything different about the blocks that would prevent installation/swapping of the "new" style '92+ adapter onto these blocks that used the older adapter and older o-rings?
By the way, I did end up rotating mine horizontal and installing the larger WIX 51515 without any issues. I also...
Do you still know which part number you bought by any chance?
These are the ones I have:
"For 91-92 Jeep® Cherokee XJ"
Quadratec Part No: 55001.0814
Manufacturer Part No: 55034075
Quadratec Part No: 55001.0815
Manufacturer Part No: 55034074
I also noticed that Quadratec lists a set for...
Here's a generic list that I use for parts I would be interested in for trade...
Headlight Plastic Trim/Bezels (Both Sides) – 91-96 Cherokee XJ
Power Steering Pump Brackets – 97-01 Cherokee XJ
Front Driveshaft – 91-01 Cherokee XJ or 95-98 Grand Cherokee ZJ (u-joint not CV style)
Front...
Complete set of brand new JCR Off Road XJ front bumper tie-in brackets with steering box brace and all of the hardware required. Powder coated black.
Still in the box, bought them with my bumper but a set was also included with the bumper. $125 shipped, located in Central Florida.
Also...
Bummer. I was actually thinking pretty hard about a 97+ header panel and fender swap but decided to keep this MJ true to its heritage and buy all new 91 parts for the grille. My biggest reason for considering the swap was actually parts availability and not the looks.
Now everything is new but...
I need replacement headlight bezels for my '91 Comanche.
I ordered Crown parts from Quadratec, including the bezel and both park/side lights for each side.
The parts fit horribly, and the bezels cannot be modified to fit. They match the header panel with a bit of grinding, but they do not sit...
It looks clean and I like the simplicity of it. I'm a big fan of 3-link setups too. Would like to see a few bolts go through the "frame" but it wouldn't be hard to add a couple angle brackets for that...
The MJ also has a couple extra cross member bolts inboard on the framerail, might be able to...
That kit looks nice, those are some good looking welds :guitar:
I built my XJ around 2008-2010 then dropped out of the game until last year. Now I'm rebuilding a '91 MJ and it's pretty amazing to me how much has changed! Stuff that used to be dime-a-dozen is non-existent and prices are much...
Does Rock Krawler still build the 3-link upgrade? I was planning to get a second one so my MJ and XJ could have the same setup, but I don't see the XJ even listed on their products page any more...
Finally had time to finish the mount (minus paint). If I was going to do it over again, I would put the steel straps under the top radiator support so I could push them in further and move the cooler closer to the radiator. There's a pretty big gap between the cooler and radiator and it's close...
Decided to go with the drivers side. Still working on the mounts but it's almost done. I think it's probably fine either way, but I liked the idea of have the mechanical fan side dedicated to engine cooling and having some ability to control the trans temp with the electric fan switch.
Thanks for the input. It's on a '91 Comanche that I'm restoring and the cooling system is 100% tip top with all new Mopar parts except for the CSF 3 row radiator. It's probably irrelevant either way, but I wanted to see if anyone had any new comments.
I think I'm leaning towards the driver side...
I've been reading through old posts about trans coolers and found a couple posts with conflicting info on which side is best to mount it (DS vs PS).
Most people seem to think in front of the mechanical fan is best so it gets constant airflow, while others noted an increase in engine temps with...
Does anyone know the difference between the two part numbers of fuel pressure regulators mounted on the fuel rail that are used in the '91-'96 XJs?
I have a '91 Comanche with an engine from a '95 ZJ and I am unsure which regulator to get since I don't know what the difference is. They appear to...
