    Are these rims valuable?

I saw a pic of this rim with 31s on it and it looks great. I realized my dislike for the rim was its appearance with the 215 75 15s on it. If I get the YJ with those rims I'll keep 'em and put on 30" or 31" tires.

    Are these rims valuable?

    Are these rims valuable?

Thanks, I looked but forgot to check sold listings.

    Are these rims valuable?

Not bad, aluminum must be up. I suppose if I cn't sell them I can scrap them.

    Are these rims valuable?

Will soon pick up my new YJ that is equipped with XJ rims. I'd like to know if I these rims are sell-able, so I can replace the rims with either YJ or aftermarket. This is not a ploy to sell them in this forum, I would list locally sometime down the road. I cannot post a pic for some reason, but...

    Finally solved no heat issue

Missed your post...that's accurate, I have no heater control valve on the 2000 XJ.

    Finally solved no heat issue

A great comment. The best thing to do after this kinda fix is drain and refill.

    Finally solved no heat issue

Checked the usual suspects, blend door, T Stat, coolant, no luck. Also flushed the heater core with a garden hose, no change. Then one mechanic said he would do the hose swap backflush if I brought it in, but I thought I could do it for free, so I did. Another mechanic, whom I trust a great...

    Finally solved no heat issue

Heater core was plugged up. Prior to radiator swap, I used stop leak as an emergency fix to get me across country, long after the road trip, when the stop leak finally failed, I swapped the radiator but then had no heat. Flushing the heater core with the hose had not previously helped. Today I...

    thermostat

Update: I tested the T stat on the stove and with a thremometer, opened at 195 degrees, closed slowly starting at same, but replaced it with a new one anyway. Filled cooling system and overflow tank, cycled it a few times, no change in heat. Blend door and motor are working. Maybe the heater...

    thermostat

Radiator is full to the top, but the catch bottle is empty, which concerns me, because it was only months ago that It was full. Engine compartment is dry, no evidence of leaks, no oil in coolant or vice versa. Quality is good, because it is relatively new and 50/50 mix. I will try a new T stat...

    thermostat

When I replaced the radiator I flushed the heater core til it ran clear, and it seemed to flow very easily as tho not clogged. Does my 2000 have a bypass valve? Where might that be?

    thermostat

Thanks guys, I will look into both issues. yes, I bought a T stat at auto zone, not Jeep. I 'll replace that AND look at the blend door. I want more heat. I actually borrowed my wife's Liberty today to do errands because I wanted to stay toasty.

I have a 2000 XJ with supposed stock replacement T Stat and poor heat. Where does a proper running temp. gauge read when warmed up? Mine is about half way between the 210 mark and the one to the left of it. I get heat, just not like it used to be. The blend door works, in that the temp. adjust...

    no heat - solved

Yup, removed the single-use fail safe tstat, it was locked open I installed a stock replacement. Heat works well, no coolant or tranny fluid leaks. Just in time, it is getting cold in Wiscsonsin, need heat in the truck, and don't want to wrench on it in the cold.

    Agreed.

    no heat - solved

I checked that out, too. All is fine. Other tell tale symptom is slow to warm up, and never gets close to running temperature. My guess is 140 or so degrees, unless I let it idle without pulling air thru the radiator, then gets warmer and can get some heat.

    no heat - solved

The truck over heated after the install of the new T stat cuz the radiator was still bad. I should have replaced the T stat after the that over heating incident. The box says that it breaks in the open position, so you can limp home to repair it without over heating. It is also self-described as...

    driver side door speaker

I added a new ground wire becasue it had been damaged by the boot mentioned above. Also ran a ground wire from ground to the metal of the door itself, which corrected all my power window and lock woes. Notorious on these Jeeps.

    no heat - solved

Had a coolant leak so replaced water pump and thermostat while I was at it. Still had a leak and found the problem was the radiator, so I replaced the radiator. No more leak, but no more heat either. Could only get heat into the truck if I let it idle for a long time. Driving would eliminate the...
