    Motor Mount Replacement

    I used polyurethane mounts from Jeep Essentials and they are awesome. They are also cheaper than the crappy stock rubber mounts which I believe is the cause of the 5th-6th exhaust header tube cracking problem. Since I put the new ones in my exhaust header has never cracked again

    This is not the answer to your problem, but it may help anyways since most xj's run fairly hot while doing heavy 4-wheelin. You might also try a Flow Kooler water pump. About $140.00 but doubles flow rate at idle and adds 22% more water pressure inside block keeping engine temps up to 30 deg...
