thats my xj. its also bolted along the bottom of the chassis rails. i have some channel running down the inside of the rails bolted on the bottom in the existing hitch holes. definitly firmed it up a bit in the back. and the clearance is awesome.

To me a real xj is something that can be easily daily driven but can still be abused on the weekend and can overcome any trail you dare to attempt.
My father installed some on his xj last year and had nothing but issues with them. The day he installed them they had an S type shape to them and a week later they started to fan out. took it to moab a few weeks later and the axle wrap from the springs was ridiculous and caused a u joint to...
i am running 33 10.5s on my eccos with a 3.5" lift it rubs the lower controls arms at full lock and i had to hammer the pinch seams in and i cut my fenders and the rolled lip off the front flares

it is tied in along the inside of the chassis rails as long as 4 more additional bolts on the back side corner supports with sandwiched quarter inch plate....i am not an idiot i braced it :looser:
