I am in the middle of trying to replace my heater core in my 90 Comanche. I have read many threads saying i dont have to remove the whole dash just the lower panel and the box underneath the dash. I have the lower panel removed and have removed the nuts holding the box to the firewall.

I got it all put back together and what do you know it started right up! I cleaned a lot of ground in the process of finding the issue. So it could have been a combination or just the single ground on the fuel pump assembly itself. I now have myself a clean fully operating MJ for $1000. Not too...
I pulled the pump out of the tank. And then connected it to a battery and it fired right up. So I cleaned the ground on the metal tube assembly and put the pump back together. Plugged it in and it no run when I cycle the key. All I need now is a new piece of fuel line to connect to pump to the...
Removed and cleaned up the CPS today. Seems to be working fine because I have spark. Now I am thinking my fuel pump went out. I can't seem to get it to kick on.
I just bought a 1990 MJ 4.0 yesterday. I have been messing with it this morning and have noticed that the fuel pump doesnt seem to kick on when i turn the key to the ON position. Is there a fuseable link or a relay that would be preventing the pump from getting power?
I cleaned the grounds that...
are you sure that it is the head and not the head gasket?
not really sure what head is better but you could probably find one in a junkyard for a couple hundred $$$$.
Good luck
I recently had the same problem as you. I had bought some herculiner a few months back to do the floors of the Jeep but never got around to it. So I decided to pull the headliner out and sand it till all the foam cushion is gone and it looks like really big fiberglass. (kinda sorta) Then went...
I am not professional and own pretty much all Craftsman tools. I have had plenty of experience with a tool breaking (mostly ratchets) when I need them. I have lots of friends and family who are professional that have Snap-on Mac blah blah blah and they are some very nice tools. If you are able...
My biggest recommendation would be to rent the ball joint press and the 4wd adapter set. This made my ball joint job take about an hour. And air tools if you have the option. I've done it before with out the 4wd adapter set and it pretty much sucked. haha and Good Luck!
I have a Ramsey 8000. It has continued to amaze me everytime I use it. I have a lot of buddies with Warn and they run into problem nothing ever big but I believe a winch is something you would want to always work. Good Luck
I recently swapped a HP Dana 30 into my XJ and decided it would be a perfect time to install the locker I have had for over 2 years. I was always afraid to tear into my differential but went for it. I took the whole carrier out and removed the ring gear.
I did a lot of searching and reading...
The sawz-all method works great for removal! What I usually do is find a socket that wedges into the gap of the bushing mount and that has always helped me keep the ears from bending together!
Good luck
