Ok so it's do or die. We have to have a BOD to exist. If you want to run, you must be a member, post up and we cna get you nominated. I have too much going on outside NAXJA to keep going here.
Trail access in Moab is being threatened.
Saw this on NC4x4.
“Southwest Utah Wilderness Alliance is trying to shutdown 330,000 acres of motorized recreation access in the Labyrinth Rims/Gemini Bridge Special Recreation Area outside of Moab. This includes every trail west of Highway 191 and...
"Mark your calendars! The official dates for the 2021 SEC Cherokee Crawl will be July 1st - July 3rd at Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Area in Harlan, KY. The event will be at: https://www.harlancountycampground.com/
Hope to see you there!"
Red SEC Members if you want to see the chapter live we need to get a BOD together. There are some changed to the forum that we are working on that will make it much better. Chime in here or pm me.
So the 88 my son and I have been working on has a very high idle. It appears to be drinking gas. The other issue is reverse in the aw4 works after it warms up. Thoughts?
So we have been working on my sons 88 MJ. This jeep has sat for many years with a blown motor. This year we finally got a motor and 4wd conversion down to it. The jeep starts and idles good. Usually needs starter fluid the first time. We thought it was a bad fuel pump but we just swapped in...
Ghost died.... It was idling in the yard then died. I tried to restart and it would not. Checked fuel at the rail. It's good. Checked for spark and it has none. There is voltage at the coil. I don't have my FSM here with me so I'm not sure what to check next. I checked CPS resistance and...
I am thinking I would like to run Mason Jar and Lions Den on Friday. In the last few years of going these trails are always clogged on Saturday. I know for a fact there is a large group from NC going to Harlan and camping on the Evarts side the same time we will be there. So if you want to...
If you are coming in on Tuesday and plan to ride Wednesday I will be around to lead a group. Please post up what your wheeling and what kind of wheeling you are after. Easy, Moderate, or Extreme.

Looking for some MJ specific help here. I have an 88 that the column was sloppy on. Well I tore it down and tightened the annoying bolts in it. When I put it back together shortly after the ignition quit moving freely. So I tore back into it and found the rod bent. I pulled a column out of...
Ok so who would be up for a ride on the 6th? I turn 50 on the 7th and worked out a ride at The Shop in Marion, NC. $25 driver and rig $10 for passenger. :guitar:
I have been wanting to go here for a while. Every open ride has conflicted with something over the years. If anyone is interested it's in Marion, NC

July 28 I'm taking the "dirty diesel" up to a reunion of sorts in Louisville. I spent several summers there and in New Albany and am returning for the first time in 25+ years. I know I'll be busy most of the day Saturday and will be leaving out Sunday morning to head home. I'm hoping to hit...
Who broke what? I have a creak in my front which I believe to be a bad Track bar heim and some loose bolts. My front diff is leaking gear oil. :shhh: :dunno:
As I sit here drinking a beer the day before I head out it occurred to me that some of you may not know to BYOB! Harlan is not known for having beer in stores..... So that being said if any of you from the Midwest happen upon Founder's Devil Dancer in the 4 pack. $25 down here. I'd gladly...
I'll have the 110 welder and grinder and sawzall if needed. I keep a front 2wd slug in my trail box on the jeep. I also have a box that goes in the truck that will have all kinds of things. 231 output shaft. Steering box pitman shaft. alternator, fuel pump, and a slew of other things.
So this year Beer Goggels will not make it. So I guess you guys are stuck with me leading the Hard group. Front and rear lockers, 35's or bigger and a winch is a strong need. Who's in for some Lion's Den, White Tail, Your Turn and some other good challenging trails? I'm excited!
