I have a Jeep AW4 transmission that came out of my 1990 Jeep Cherokee with a 4.0L motor. I was told by a mechanic at the shop that I worked at a couple years ago that the trans was causing my shuddering problem. Replaced the trans and the problem was still there. Ended up being a bum throttle...
Hey Israel,
I've still got my AW4 trans for sale and I'm headed for SLC on November 8th though the 12th. Make me an offer. Either PM me or email me at partsprofessional at hotmail.com

I believe it has about 125K on it. I bought it because one of the supposed "mechanics" at work misdiagnosed a throttle position sensor as a bad transmission. :tears:
Used AW4 transmission. I would like $150.00 for this and I can ship if needed. Post a message and if you need it shipped I will calculate shipping cost. It has a broken starter mount on the bell housing, but the bell housing can be swapped. I'm located in Idaho Falls, Idaho; zip code 83401...
I know this is a little OT but what are you using for your tie rod ends?
Your suspension and everything looks great! Can't wait to see what you did for the shock mounts.

Thanks for the reply Lincoln. I guess that I'll have to order a set of bearings and then break out the dial caliper and measure the outside diameter of the race. When I get to that point I'll post my findings and let everyone know.
Thanks again
Tubing Diameters
Hey lincoln I agree that their price is a little expensive considering the materials. The problem that I am running in to is selecting the proper tube sizes for the shell. On the Northern Tools web site it said that the outside diameter of the 1" bearings is actually 1.9...
I would like to second this motion. I've also been AWOL for a little while as I have had another project (Off-road Teardrop Trailer) that has been taking up my time. With that said I would also like to thank everyone for the helpful responses that are freely given when I have had a question to...
Ary,
I've been thinking about getting some Bilsteins and I was wondering where to get them and what part numbers to look for.
By the way my XJ has a 3" lift on it with the stock shock mounts.
Thanks!
Eagle check out Redneck Trailer Supplies. I know that they have windows of various sizes starting at about $35.00 and going up from there. These are good quality aluminum framed windows too.
Good Luck!

I second Dave's statement. I e-mailed Heather and PM'd Woody and haven't herd from either yet. I would be more than happy to donate. Please PM me or e-mail me. Thanks!!
