I've got a set of 5 Old style GY MTR's mounted on black steel 15x8 rims.
I don't use the jeep enought these days to justify the 35's.
I'd like to lower it and run 33's again. (re-ignite my wheeling passion)
2 of these are 80% and the other 3 are 50% or more.
No cuts, No patches, No problems...
I have a friend with a restored military jeep. All I know for sure is that the middle 'row' consists of a prism and light. It is meant to run with the 'blackout' settings the military jeeps have. When you are too close you see 4 red lines, too far away you see 3, and when just the right distance...
I just did this mod last week on my '98 Cherokee Sport 4.0/AW4/8.25 & 242.
I used the front d.shaft from a '87 cherokee (all spicer shaft) that I
pulled from the local pull-and-save for $15.00.
Installed with the RE hack-n-tap on the 242 and I am running the
RE 3.5 superflex kit.
NO problems...
