I know of the ZJ brake swap, but can you swap the whole axle assembly, I want to convert the rear to disc brakes. I have access to one and was thinking about throwing the whole thing in there to avoid modifying anything. Are the widths different?
I was thinking about mounting my spare 32" tire on the floor using a mounting bracket like in this post,

and then building a storage box to surround it, but i'm not sure if the tire will fit.
I just bought a 91 xj with a high output 4.0L and the pressure is reading 80 PSI at Idle. I replaced both the gauge and sending unit with no results. i than hooked up a mechanical gauge and found the pressure was still reading about 70 PSI at idle. So now I've been told to check the oil pressure...
my lifters in my 92 cherokee 4.0l were getting pretty noisy, so a couple of weeks ago i replaced them. at the same time i replaced the pushrods, thermostat, serpintine belt and of course all the gaskets. everything runs great, but when i turn the car off, the engine proceeds to make a fast pace...
