So I replaced my TPS because my idle was crap like 250ish and went into limp home mode. '89 4.0 stock motor with auto. Replaced the TPS and not in limp home mode anymore but idle still is around 250ish and yes it was adjusted. My brakes are garbage like on the floor so I know my booster is bad...

Here's a pic of what I'm talking about along with the loose cable that goes to the throttle. I disconnected the electrical to this beast and nothing happened as for throttle response and such.

Also my issue is it's runs good for the first minute and then starts acting up. I'm currently going piece by piece and checking over stuff.

Running 33's on my '89 with 4.5" lift for over 3 years now. No t.c. drop and no s.y.e. I just put on the lift one day and started to drive it with no problems. I go offroad a lot but nothing too extreme and have had no problems.

Looks nice. Great job. Just needs some finishing touches and it's good to go.

I have done this and I think alot of others on here have done this as well. Just get a toggle switch and it will take 10 minutes to do. I'm sure using the search feature on here you'll come up with plenty of simple step instructions.

Make sure that you tightened everything correctly. Sounds too easy but I've had things loosen up and start creaking and then once it's retightened, no more noise.
