The forest service road behind the Stawamus Chief is normally closed (community watershed) but now that they're building a gondola above Shannon Falls, they leave the gate open for construction traffic. This is the access route for an alpine mountaineering objective Rachel and I are pursuing, so...
This paper describes some tech details in Spin Tires
It's a game about soviet-era looking rigs driving through mud/water, crushing trees, etc... Pretty interesting! Check out the trailer below, thankfully the game was kick-started ! It got something like 25k more than 'asked for' - but...
Here's a link to the latest trailer for a game I've just wrapped up working on.
I'm a special effects artist, so my contributions are the sparks, destruction, debris, fragment physics, animated chickens, etc.

My wife and I did some alpine mountaineering this weekend. We backpacked 15k into the wilderness and summited a set of twin peaks called the Golden Ears, NorthEast of Vancouver B.C.
Yesterday morning, this is where we woke up:
The late-summer early-morning snow is hard and frozen, so an...

I was inspired by this thread to improve the wiring for various powered accessories I've added to my Jeep over the years (fog lamps, etc).
Switches activate relays in the engine compartment using Cat5 Ethernet cable to save space and keep the larger accessory wires out of the passenger...
I started working on a little project this weekend. I've had a stock XJ gas tank skid taking up space in my apartment, or taking up space in the back of the Jeep for almost 5 years..
Then, a year or so ago friend of mine from the NAXJA NWChapter (Thanks RedJeep2.0!) gave me a gift...
I hiked Mt. Cheam this weekend.
The hiking trail started at the end of a decommissioned FSR.
There's still some snow up there - lots of avalanche debris made for an exciting hike.
It was awe inspiring to see slopes covered in broken trees from avalanches earlier in the season.
The valleys below...
I was reading ehall's "beater!" thread, and it reminded me of a loose end I've been meaning to tie up.
He picked up a 97+ axle for his pre-97 XJ - but can't use the parking brake because of the cable differences.
I didn't want to clutter his thread with my inquiry, so here it is.
I put an 87xj...
