2000 4Dr XJ / 4.0 ltr / AW4
Have no sound coming out of all but right rear speaker. Found writeups on common problem at door and found no broken wires. Pulled the stereo (stock am/fm cassette) and found the black ground wire was pulled out of the connector that goes into the stereo. Pushed...

I was trying to wiggle the down pipe in line with exhaust header and a speed nut fell into the exhaust pipe. Anybody have ideas on how to get it out? Does it even have to come out?

I found a used motor to replace the blown one I had. The new motor came with a manual transmission and has a needle bearing in the crankshaft end. How do I take this bearing out?

I was changing the rear main seal and the bearing on the cap had a scratch on it. I can run my fingernail across it and it snags. Pulled the bearing caps on the rest of the bearings and 5 of the 7 had scratches. The journals on the crankshaft are smooth. What...

Was pulling motor, lowered transmission to get to 2 torx bolts on bell housing and stripped one, does anyone have ideas for getting it off?
I am getting ready to pull the engine on my 2000 XJ with a 4.0 liter 6 and need to buy a hoist and engine stand. Would a 1 ton crane "cherry picker" be big enough and would a 750 lb. capacity engine stand suffice?

Putting oil pan back on for 2nd time, cut 1 pc. gasket by rear main the first time and it leaked. Is there a secret to installing the oil pan without messing up the gasket, it was a very tight fit the 1st time I installed it.

I've had my Jeep parked for 2 years and am wanting to get it back on the road. I am planning on pulling the oil pan to replace the rear seal (reason its parked). What else should I check, clean?
