new info: its binding on the neutral safety switch. i took the cable off of it and then held the arm up into the housing and my ignition turns fine.

so, im looking at it and it defintely that the ignition rod is binding on the outer casing of the steering column. i just cant get it off to see why.

so im knee deep in trying to figure out why my ignition wont turn and i believe ive fonud the problem. the rod that goes from the cylinder to the switch seems to be binding somewhere. i cant figure out how to get the piece of the steering column off though. its the one right below the one with...

So, i was smelling gas everytime i got out of my xj then one day i found my fuel fiter leaking. so i replaced it. easy enough. so that lasted a week. today i found it leaking again. its not leaking at the hoses. its at the seam of the filter. i cant figure out what would cause it to repeatedly...

i think he was talking about his fenders in general. if you are talking about the lip HELL NO! i took a cutoff wheel and cut slits where it looked like it needed it and pounded those fuckers up. im still not done though so no pics yet.
