It would be an ECM, the auto transmission has its own 'computer'. It should work wether its for a manual or auto trans.

I'd reccomend stock Champion plugs. Other brands have been known to make 4.0's run funny. Seen it a handful of times.

Rod ends are meant to rotate. Washers are on there incase they seperate, they wont come flying off. You should ditch the normal washers and use 'safety washers'. Mine rotate and don't wear quickly, even DDing it. Quality rod ends make a huge difference in strenght and longevity. Keep them clean...

I just do them all with a ball peen hammer.
