One of the reasons for a sye is a streanth upgrade. The other is to use a longer shaft, and also if you break the rear you can drive on the front without leaking all your fluid out. If you dont know of any yoke that will work just say so. Thats all I'm looking for is yoke info not personal...

I dont need a cv in the rear with only 3 to 4 inches of lift. I have spare front shafts already. front shaft are only 25$ in the yards here. I would like the simplest and most dependable setup, a cv shaft also weighs more. Ive rear alot of the posts here. Do you think a dana 44 yoke would work?

Does anyone know if there is a yoke to use with AA sye kit that would use a normal u-joint, not the cv style shaft. trying to use a non cv driveshaft.

I just picked up a 78 bronco axle complete and noticed it has cast wedges on it. will I be able to use this to cut down to waggy width?

I just replaced my 90amp in a 93 auto ho with one from a 98 dodge durango with a 318 ( 137amp) had to grind the inside of the bracket alittle but this has been in my jeep for about 3k miles now, no problems. Cost about 50$ at the junk yard.

cap sizes are identical! cross width, the 1330 is larger than the 1310.

high angle drive line can help with the adapter to 1310. ask for jesse. gathering parts to do the same swap should be more tha enough for 35s.

I am about to do the same. sye 231 with a 8.8 and about 3.5 inches of lift. Will I be able to use a front shaft from a auto. Mine is also a auto.

Yes I think I will upgrade the output wire. I'm going to move the battery under the passengers front seat also. Does the charging wire just go from the alt to the fuse block?

Has anyone else used the 136 amp durango unit? I'm wondering if I will need to upgrade the charging wire to a bigger gauge? I have a suzuki that I changed the alt in it and smoked the charging wire while winchin. Any thoughts would be helpful.
