Also comes with stock size tie rod ends with less than 15K miles, but...
I bought these a few years ago from a NAXJA member, but never used them. They should work with stock XJ rear axles, but check the measurements to be sure. Just over 3 inches overall height. PM me if you’re interested or if you have any questions.
Available for pickup in Granada Hills...
These were pieces from when I first cobbled up a lift for my XJ and will give an honest 2.5” of lift front and rear. The front coils are Superlift, and the rear leaves are bastard packs made with chevy S-10 springs.
The shocks are Gas-Matics and are longer than stock and sized to fit the...
Some kid decided to back into me this weekend without looking. Thank goodness all I need a new bumper cap. You should have seen his Prius! Too bad I didn't take pics.
Anyways, I'm looking for an unpainted, textured bumper cap. It's for the driver's side front. Weathered and faded is okay...
Trying to clean out the garage...
I have an unused OEM wheel with a Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tire size 215/70R15.
This was a spare from an 05 TJ Wrangler. Always kept in the garage. Still looks fresh.
Also included is the center cap. $20 cash or maybe trade for a Xbox360 game or ?
I'm in...
I bought these from another NAXJA member (Fordguy) a couple years back, but never used them. These are from Full Traction's 6 inch lift kit. I believe the springs will give 5 inches of lift. You'll need longer shackles to achieve the full 6 inches from what I read. Please do your research...
Maybe this thread should be in the tech section, but I felt I would get more relevant feedback from the SoCal peeps.
My XJ is a 97 with a 4.0. I was given a 91 engine that I'd like to rebuild to put into my 97 but before I shell out the cash for machine work, I wanted to run it over with you...
I have a pair of Rubicon Express RE3700 LCA's. It has some rock scrapes, but nothing bent. I noticed a crack on one of the rubber bushings, so it's probably a good idea to replace the rubber bushed ends (see pics). The superflex ends are fine. They are 16" center to center which are 1/4"...
I just installed a new Uniden ProXL520 CB in my heep, and since this radio model is popular with the XJ crowd, I thought some of you guys may want to try this.
My rig is a 97 with keyess remote so it had a plastic cover between the visors. Since I have an aftemarket alarm, I removed the cover...
I’ve never been completely happy with the Rubicon Express RE1600 Track Bar because it’s mounted at the frame bracket in single shear. This upgrade has been on my mind for a while, but finally have some time to work on it. Here’s how the RE1600 is normally mounted to the stock bracket...
Took them off my XJ when I did the lift. Great shape, but I buggered the tip a little on one of them if you care. Made in Japan.
This is 2 fronts and 2 rears. Stock lengths. $40
In Granada Hills 91334 or pick up during work hours in Glendale 91201 or ship on your dime. Approx 16 lbs.
I have a set of 3" lift front coils for sale. They guy I bought them from said they were Superlift brand, but cannot guarantee since there are no markings. Good shape, no sagging, even on both sides. They ride similar to a RE spring, maybe slightly stiffer. $60
Also for sale are a set of...
Next mod for me is to upgrade my stock toothpick tie rod. I thought about the ZJ tie rod, but liked the idea of building my own with DOM tube.
After going through our tap/die collection at work, I couldn't find LH taps for other common TRE thread sizes like 3/4-16 or 11/16-18. But I found...
Need some help from you gearing gurus. I'm replacing the factory 3.55 gears in my D30 but cannot determine what the checking distance marking is on the pinion.
I know the 233 is the ID for matching the ring and pinion set, but not sure what the "K0" means. Usually it's a + or - followed by...
Ford Explorer 8.8 Axle Swap - Write Up / Setup Data
I finished up my 8.8 swap last week and thought I would share my setup with you guys.
I realize that every rig is different, depending on what leaf springs you have, or whether you are running a SYE/CV-driveshaft or longer shackles, but I...
I finally got around to finishing my 8.8 swap so here's a free D35 off my 97 XJ. Drum to drum. Brake shoes look almost new. Originally an ABS axle, so it has the tone rings on the shafts, but no ABS wheel sensors.
It's in great shape. Straight, no leaks, good brakes, 3.55 ratio.
Located...
Just wondering if anyone has tried installing these on their XJ.
Opinions on how these would look on an XJ front and rear?
