    I did at one point but its been almost a year since I have looked at it. I will have to climb back under there and double check the wires again. Once I have those two wires figured out the only wire that remains will be a ground wire correct?

    I agree. I have had the 6.5" long arm kit for a few years now and have been very happy with it but then again i got full leaf packs and shackles. You might all them to see if you could get a full leaf pack for a 4.5" kit instead of AAl and or blocks. Craig

    A different kind of tire carrier...

    What size tire will you put on it? What material is your lift gate made from? If it is fiberglass it won't last very long with the stress of the attachment points in a small location. If it is metal it will hold up a little longer. Without reinforcements internally neither will last long...
