Got an 88 limited with NP 242. Has high miles but runs good. Torque converter bolts got loose last year and I put lock title on them and now they have backed out again. Have not had time to mess with it. Still driveable. Headliner is sagging, brakes got a little soft from sitting about 6 months...
i am doing mine now so far i have got the drivers side done with ease now im on the passenger side and i will let you know how that turns out in a day or so im kinda presed for time so i only get to work on it in my free time which is not much
need 15 inch wheels and tires would like to have cragars but anything will work and a set of 33s a/t or m/t i have a factory set of spoke wheels and a good set of 31s bfg a/t i will trade or will buy if you dont need them

On the contrary, Toyota Camrys, many GM's, Mitsubishi's and others come without a Tranny gasket and have silicone from the factory... Oil pans on later 7.3L Diesels are siliconed from the factory and finding a gasket is near impossible.... the downside to silicone comes from people who think...

3.4L is a "Direct Swap" or as close as you can get... the 4.3L is a whole different family, to swap in a 3.4 would be the cheapest and easiest route.... if you can find one from a camaro or something similar just pull the entire engine, harness and all..... before you put it in you can buy...
6.5 inch lift, and 33 inch pro-comps.... been rockin' 3.55's from day 1..... but if the opportunity presents itself I would re-gear.... not really in a hurry
Marvels is a very good "EVERY OIL CHANGE" additive.... do not expect immediate results but in the long run it works wonders.... Also you can put seafoam in a spray bottle and search for vacuum leaks, the white smoke is a dead giveaway of a vacuum leak.
Seafoam is available in a can and also in an aerosol, its a mix of Petroloeum distyllates and some other solvent based agents like actetone and such. It is very helpful when using it on a rig that has had neglected blow by for years, if you don't like your neighbors I suggest two cans and rev...
