Hey I just got a Iron Rock SYE. I have a 8.8 in my XJ, there directions show how to measure for a yoke style rear axle and mine is the flange. Anyone done this before and know how much of my output shaft I need to cut off? Or what part of the 8.8 I need to measure from.

Thats only a little of the carnage so far this year, we've came close to hydro locking a 401 in a CJ, cracked bell housing on a '98 SAS Ranger, blown 22R on a yota pickup (the squirrels were getting tired). And plenty misc. tree and rock educed body mods.
So far it has been a great summer for wheeling. Been able to be wheeling for the past 6 weekends in a row. Woo Hoo! More to come as the summer moves on.
Thats really a puddle a tempo could go threw. Back in the woods is way better, its more of water over the hood, with a nice soft bottom. This weekend I head to the real playground.
I have an XJ with the D44 rear end, Im stuck at work now. I need to have new ubolts made, but dont know the measurments, anyone able to get some measurments for me. Id really appreciate it. Im trying to get the Jeep driveable for the new shoes by tonight. I can call and have the ubolts made and...
I searched and couldnt come up with to many oppions on the RK steering set up. Just wondering if its worth the price, does it improve on road driving and how great is the steering improved? Also where online can I order it? Looking to get my steering all ordered up today.
Im looking for the size of the one bolt that comes with the Hack and Tap, I have everything but that one bolt, if someone could tell me Id very much appreciate it.
Tighten the three bolts that hold the stearing box in, theyre in the driver side wheel well, you will probly get a turn or two out of the bolts. When I did this to mine the "pop" went away.
