If you are doing this the cobramarty way with the spacers, the wing style knuckles from 90+ won't work. On gojeep's site there is a writeup of a big brake install and it requires you to grind off the caliper mounting area on the 90+ knuckles and install a bracket that goes under the bolts...
Thanks, using the hitch as the template will work well enough. Some times the instructions offer "tricks and tips" for making the install go smoothly. Thanks for the quick replies.
After years of searching, final scored a MJ hitch at the junk yard. Now for the install on my 1987. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the installation instructions? Looks as though I will need to drill the frame and wanted to make sure to do it correctly. All help greatly...
there's a second pull-a-part down by the airport. thats where i found my 8.8 w/ disks, there are a ton of drum break axles.
