XJ was build in december, 1992. It would be strange to take the gearbox apart...

Yes, the second one is definetly Mopar. First one should be Renix?
Yes. Everything is the same but the insides are different. Mine looks like a Renix distributor, but I have a Mopar ECU.
I have a 1992-93 Jeep XJ 2.5 and my ignition distributor has died. Part number 53006151. I got another from the junkyard and it's different - part number is 56027027! Will it fit?
