good call, matt. i was soooo glad i didn't get a ticket when i got pulled over on the way back from naches.
your new rig is TIGHT! i'm officially jealous.
that must have happened when he owned it. i never rolled it. lean it into a few trees, yes - roll it, no.
it makes sense that he may have done so, given the fact that the windows were tinted when i sold it. it looked like the tint was gone, so maybe he had to replace all the windows after a roll.
holy crap!! my old jeep as commented by matt having bald swampers and a bent tie rod :)
it warms my heart to see it in action still, and that the bumper i built is still in one piece. i can't even remember the name of the kid who bought it!
oh now with a personal attack clearly aimed toward my diet? how original, matt.
i haven't seen any recent pictures of you, but perhaps you should think about some new dietary habits. i inherited mine from my parents.
actually, i left the nw so i could finish my degree and hopefully not have to...

i know i've been absent for quite some time, but it seems like almost every thread i open yields at least one negative response from you.
are you unhappy?
just curious, because i never knew you to be an asshole in real life - however, you certainly play the role on here...
i moved from CA to WA with a car that also had a cracked windshield.
i had no problems transferring the car to WA, but i DID take the WA drivers' test
3 times before i finally passed it! maybe i should have studied? i don't know.
when i transferred the title to WA, they handed me my plates...
i built the bumper on my rig that i sold so that the winch actually sat below the grill, as far back as it would go. it only stuck out 2" past stock, and everything was hidden. i mounted the solenoid box behind the grill, and if someone was motivated enough to try and steal it, it would have...
also check where the harmonic balancer sits next to the timing chain cover. if the balancer gets out of whack, it could slowly eat into the timing chain cover, and the metal on metal sound could be a chirp that increased in frequency as speed increased.
hi hans!
well, to make it clear, i'm not really "around" per se - i moved back to northern CA where i am pursuing a bachelors of nursing degree. pursuing as in trying to get into a program. i finished my prereq's in yakima this last spring, and just couldn't stand to be away from my family and...
this is from another cheesy trip
i flexed up on a tractor of some sort late one night
i had 35" mtr's for a quick minute... junk!
i drove over a log with those 35's on just because i could.
later that afternoon, i climbed the tire on my friend's toyota project, which is incidentally...
i don't have any pix with the snorkel... it made its way into the dumpster almost as quickly as it arrived! for a while, i had a cheap trucker mirror over the hole that worked pretty well when the doors were off, but that got pretty beat up so i took it off. i put the hood vent on that side and...
yeah, pvc snorkel. worst waste of time, effort, and sheetmetal ever.
i built that fugly bumper all by my lonesome, and hid the solenoid box behind the grille. these pics were taken before the finish welding/grinding/painting was done. 1/4" frame attachments, doubled as steering box brace -...
...but here are some pix of the jeep i used to own - and myself - the last time i went "wheeling" up close to moonrocks.
i have a couple more if anyone is even slightly interested.
we didn't make it up to the rocks due to snow, by the way. i think these were taken late may 2006.
what's wrong with making a similar product with a different approach? if all of your logic with regard to "it's already been done" applied to the last 100 or so years of technology, we'd still be driving model T fords or something. let the guy do his thing. if it sucks, big deal! if it's...
