There are only two. One upstream and the downstream.

Yeah, that one is after the catalyc converter. I replaced that one. The car passes emissions, "bank one sensor one" is the sensor before the cat that sends info for air/fuel adjustments. When this one goes out, you won't pass emissions.

Some people have said to unplug them to see if car runs better, others to check ohms.. then there are renix ones.. My XJ is a 96 4.0.. How do I check these? My check engine light is on.. and I get O2 sensor code.

I fixed it. Turned out to be the switch.

Anyone have info on the 96? Particulary what fuse 8 on the fuse box under driver's side is for? Plus, did this year have the combo hazard/turn signal combo relay? Is there a seperate relay for the signals?

I don't know, maybe this one was destined for me to service. Right now I am curious if the 96 had the flasher/hazard combo relay. This car makes me feel like a pirate with steering wheel on his crotch, cuz it's driving me nuts!
