    This may sound a little unbelievable, but when I replaced my thermostat that was sticking open with a new 195 I gained almost 2 miles a gallon.

    Langer1 is correct. Getting a judgement in small claims court is the easy part. Collecting on that judgement next to impossible.

    If it isn't the bulbs or fuses, check the connector directly under the air filter box. corrosion is pretty common on that connector.

    On your '96 it's slightly above your linkage. It's the only two wire connector on the t/c.

    Just another thought, what if I were to replace transfer case with the '96 case and use a '96 rear driveshaft so they mate up?
