autozone gave me a mixed breed part. if anyone knows what year iat sensor i need (connector woes) let me know. iat plug (side ears are further from clip.) cts (ears closer to clip) bastardized sensor they gave me for a '96 (crooked ears)

same problem i was having. same year, too. im not 100% sure, but i think cleaning the grounds is what fixed mine. but mine was throwing a different code everytime i checked it.

yea, stinking rich. fuel cap vent and tank vent are fine, but tomorrow ill check the temp sensor and pump check valve. thanks.

oh, its a '96 xj classic with a bolted-in obd1 port, and a loose obd2 port. obd2 showed high voltage temp sensor, and i havent gotten the obd1 to flash any codes yet. injectors have been cleaned and dont leak, and the rough start is intermittent, sometimes wont be rough all day, and somedays...

the plugs were cleaned, and the cap and rotor looked fine.
