get a new spring centering pin. they are cheap. dollar fifty type cheap. I believe that you need 5/16 size off the top of my head. good luck.

You can, it will just be locked like yours then, pull the handle and 4wd is engaged. All you need is a prybar and a BFH. Unbolt/break the cover off and use the prybar to force the lever over in the disconnect. Good luck.

There is a small hole where the springs for the parking brake cable go to in the unibody frame, you can point the torch head up there and heat up the bolt. Just be careful not to set your interior carpet on fire, the floor WILL get red hot under the rear seat. After you do that, try to heat next...
