Actually they're not. My D44=87' & the D35=01'. The bolt holes on the 35 Backing plate don't match up w/ Axle housing studs on the 44.

yep, got the bolt out The dealer has the part in stock so I'm gonna pick it up tomorrow and see what happens.

Well, i disconnected it and the guages went back to normal. So then I decided to remove it.... Hypothetically speaking... Lets say one of the bolts managed to fall through the opening and into the bell housing.... On a scale of 1 to 10... How fuct am I?
