Hey guys, I've got to swap out my fuel pump on a 89 xj. Do you have to pull the tank down? does anyone know any tricks or secrets about doing this job?

ive got a 89 with the 4.0 and when it is cold or it hasnt run for a couple of hours ill start it up and it will run like crap....like its missing and it has no power and smells like it runs rich...but then when it warms up the problem goes away and it runs normal...whats the problem

Guys....i straightend my tie-rod and put a washer on my trac-bar where it mounts to the unibody, then put some balanced wheels on her and she rides fine no more death wobble:D

i had the closed system and i had no problem with it until it overheated really bad and cracked all my hoses and my pressure bottle cap an after that she never ran the same temp... so i think that if you take care of them then the closed sytem is fine...but if you are having alot of trouble with...

well, i tightend the trac bar, and straightend out my tie-rod and for the most part the death wobble is gone!!!!!!! I am still going to adjust my alignment and balance the tires. I bet after i do this it will ride like it is bran new.....thanks for the help

Try napa, they are usauly pretty good about suspension parts
