Ok, so I am switching over form a Renix system to an OBD1 HO system. 1991 to be exact.
I bought an 91 XJ that ran and drove just to pull part off of for my buggy. Ran and started up fine so I just pulled the motor, trans, computer and harnesses and put them on the buggy. Pretty much plug and...
Thanks. My shop is down the street from the Hagey bus depot. I am working on expanding it in the next 2 months. You would be more then welcome to stop by once everything is all put back together. Its always nice to meet fellow wheelers.
Been here for 4 years but never introduced myself. haha
Got a free XJ when I was 18, lifted it, wheeled it, trashed it and it went to the junkyard. Found another for a great deal and put all the old XJ's goodies on it, and the wheeling/Jeep addition began.
Since I don't post here much but do...
Ok guys, it looks like the 4th Annual Unibody run will be mixed in with Rocktoberfest 2011.
I have run the last 2 Unibody runs and they have been great. This year will be no different.
We are should have a couple thousand $$ worth of parts and gift cards to raffle off. So be ready to win...
If any of you guys know anyone that doesn't find their way into the forums or even this part of the forum let them know about the event. This is a really good way to get all the XJ, MJ, ZJ guys together and put a Screen Name to a face. And show all the frame guys that the Uni-body rigs can get...
Labor Day weekend - September 5/6th at Rausch Creek Offroad Park

Once again we will be having a raffle with all contributions going to charity. This year the funds will be going to the Four...
If it is to stiff take a leaf or two out. And yes dimensions would be great if you could get them. I need right around 6 inchs of lift to clear the 36s so i need to find out what arch i need from the chevy springs.
The thing i am worried about is that the back of the spring is weaker then the front (how they are designed) so i will get bad wheel hop and wear out the springs.
Traction bar would help solve that problem but I want to look at the other options before I go that route.
