Where is the voltage regulator on a 1989 XJ? I just replaced the alternator because the battery wasn't charging, but it is still not charging. I am hoping it might be the voltage regulator.

Motor and transmission mounts could be the problem. The XJ has over 200,000 miles on it.

I just got this Cherokee. It has an automatic transmission. It runs fine in drive, or reverse. In park, or neutral it makes a loud growling/grinding noise. Any ideas?

I really miss the Fall Flogs that were held at Tellico. I sold my XJ, but the Membership guys tell me that JKs are welcome here :-) Come to think of it, the last Flog I attended at Tellico was in my Ramcharger.

It just occurred to me that Back to the Future started in 1985, then went back 30 years to 1955. At the end, it went forward 30 years. That would be 2015!! Where are all the flying DeLoreans, and Mister Fusion nuclear reactors? :-D
