    Its my experience that "temporary" usually becomes permanent. Butt connecters are a step above wire nuts and still in the realm of butcher. I have extensive knowledge on 12volt wiring as well as proper install techniques which does include trailer wiring and LED lighting. Wiring issues...

    Sounds crazy but i also look at the pattern on the drive side of the pinion. Its shows subtle changes better. If it runs close to the root on the pinion shes shallow on the ring. If it runs close to the face or the outer edge on the pinion shes too deep on the ring

    Are you jamming a rag between the ring gear and housing and turning the pinion or a rag wrapped around the pinion yoke and housing and turning the ring gear with a box wrench on a ring gear Shes looking deep on the drive side.

    I dont recall grinding down my 4.56s to get the cross shaft in, but it was a year ago, anyway, looking forward to seeing what the outcome is.

    You should see the pinion on a set of 5.13s for a JK 30, the bearing inner race is almost bigger then the pinion.
