Hey all I just got my new rebuilt motor in my 98 xj but it won't start.I installed a coyles double roller chain in it and advanced it on the sproket to get a little more bottom end,but now it is very hard to start and when it starts it will only go up to about 1500 rpm then it starts poping out...

I still have an 88 commanche for sale frame up restoration don't have the time to finish. Has new paint,all underside has been undercoated,inside bedlined,also have 29 spline 8.25 axle and dana 30 hp goes with it.It needs to be put back together. $500.00 Also have many parts from xj.

There's 156,000 on the motor and trans I can have it out in few,I have everything loose just the motor mounts and trans mount is left to take loose.
