Update: the whisting seems to only occur at part throttle (around 20-50%). If I let off the gas or get on it more, the whisting goes away. If the wires going to the O2 sensor were shorted together, would that have the effect of opening my EGR all the time? Would an open EGR cause whistling?

Even though it never made noise before? Both symptoms showed up about the same time, but I've had the intake installed for over a year with no whistling.

Also... would an open EGR give me a whistling sound (similar to a cheapo TB spacer) when opening the throttle 'moderately aggressively'? Only mods are a Flowmaster and a K&N FIPK, both have been installed for almost a year w/o problems.

Same problem with my 00 Sport. More often than not, only the driver's front window switches will work. Neither the rears nor the front passenger will have the LEDs on. Figured it was the window lock switch, but never cared enough about it to fix it. (never really carry any passengers).

I'd read to take a "spare" vacuum line from the engine, and stick it in the Sea Foam, letting the engine vacuum suck the product in. Also seem to remember you need to regulate the throttle while you're doing it so the engine doesn't stall out.

:yelclap: Dealership/Auto Parts store for the new sensors. Make sure you specify to the counterman that you want the sensors for the guage-style cluster, not the idiot-light style one. It's all plug-and-play after that. (I did this swap in my 85 2.5L a few years back.... couldn't stand that...

When I had my 85 XJ, adding urathane end link bushings to the front sway bar made a HUGE difference so I was planning on getting a set of front and rear urathane bushings for my 00 XJ.
