I have the same problem on my '96, all the fuses are good, the multi function switch is good, and I replaced the flasher relay.... all of this and they turn signals still don;t work.... I think it might be a wiring problem but have no idea where to start
I have a '96 Cherokee sport that when I trun the headlight switch to the dome light position the dash lights come on. By dash light I mean the two lights for the floor shifter and the 4x4. I can't tell about the others, but those are the ones I noticed right now.
swapped it out with one from my parts cherokee, and it works fine. funny thing is I put the one I took out in the parts jeep and it starts in park but not neutral. go figure

it was the switch, on the old one I had the wipe/wash function but not the wipe. I went to the JY and got three switches and they all work. So I am good to go. Thanks for everyones advice.
How do you test to make sure the rear wiper switch is good? I tried testing it and couldn't get any continuity through either the wipe or the wash wipe. But when I hooked the switch back up, the wash wipe worked fine but the wipe doesn't work. So I believe the switch is bad, but I need to know...
