    Having some fuel issues....

You could also try unplugging the front O2. Likely not it but hey it’s free to try.

    Glove box lock cylinder removal

    Dang. Forgot to say it’s a 98.

    Glove box lock cylinder removal

I installed a agate colored interior into my 98 and need to swap the lock cylinder from the mist gray to it. There is a hole located toward the bottom of the lock cylinder through the plastic. Not sure if that has anything to do with removal. I tried and couldn’t. My other option is to use the...

Engine won't crank. Not the battery. New starter

Not sure about the XJ but my old ZJ one time wouldn’t crank and it was the fuel pump. Apparently when there was no fuel it would kill the asd relay.

Radiator leak below petcock - what's going on in there?

Have you opened the petcock at all? Some have had issues with it leaking afterward.

    Water pumps don't last

Ya I think NAPA hoses are also Gates. And the metal heater hose tube is a repackaged Dorman. I have a NAPA less than half a mile from me. Been using their parts for 25 years without any issues so I stick with them. Just sucks when I can get the same stuff cheaper from Amazon and I even get a...

Clunk/lurch into Drive, but not Reverse

Did you also pull the rear driveshaft out and grease the heck out of the splines on the slip yoke? Worth a shot and if it doesn't fix it I'm sure it's likely needed anyhow.

    Water pumps don't last

I had two factory originals go out so far. One at 163,000 and one at 215,000. Still running one at 211,000. Not sure what would cause such short life. I would assume belt tension but if you're on top of that then i don't know. Have you done a flush? Do you use distilled water? Also when they go...

    No crank no start

Cables loose or dirty or old corroded brittle and fraying? Grounds to block and fender? What shape are they in? Battery to PDC and alternator to PDC are crucial for charging for sure. I've had issues with cables on two 98's and the 01 I have is fine for now. One 98 I got away with just putting...

    Metal clunk. wheel bearing ?

The double cardan joint on the front driveshaft will chirp and grind when the ball/socket get dried out and worn. Really bad on cooler to cold days. When it's warm they won't make a sound.

RC tracbar/drop bracket and drop pitman arm??

So I have searched and also asked on other forums. No clear answer. One of the Cherokee's I bought had about 6inch lift with RC adjustable tracbar and drop bracket. Also has a drop pitman. The angles are way off from one another. It's odd because I also have one I purchased to use for parts with...

    Quality headlight harness upgrade ?

There's a lot of decent looking ones on Amazon. When I do mine I plan on using a relay box with a cover. I've also been contemplating using a harness for 4 headlights. I'll run 2 relays from each side of the factory harness. One set will operate the headlights and the other set I will wire just...

cut and weld... I mean cut nd fold

I was actually thinking about buying the Rusty's cut corners. Similar product but they're $50. Then there is a second piece which is sold separately for over the fuel filler hose. Might just make my own though. The PO really jacked up the cut and fold. I was thinking of cutting off some rear...

    99 XY heater issue

99 has a solenoid. It s not cable operated. I don't remember it's location. Possibly the glove box door needs to be swung down?
